Senior pupil Exam
Leave
Staff Availability Timetable
Below is a timetable detailing at
which points of the week your teachers will be available at Liberton High
School during exam leave which runs from Tuesday 3rd May until
Monday 6th June (all return).
It is important that you use this
opportunity throughout May for enhanced study and subject expert feedback from
the staff.
It is also an opportunity for all pupils to complete any outstanding
units or coursework that must be completed in order to achieve the overall
award. If this is the case you must speak to your teacher as soon as possible
to discuss a plan for the completion of these units. The school will be in
contact with you if there are any outstanding units.

It may be the case that staff
will make themselves available at different times of the week and this will be
done on an agreed ad-hoc basis throughout exam leave. Please ensure that you
keep up to date with the school website and any other forms communication that
staff will utilise to stay in touch throughout exam leave. You will see that at
the moment Friday does not have any formal arrangement, however it is possible
that some staff will have availability on a Friday to meet. This will have to
be agreed with them directly or messages will be sent via iTunesU Discussion Forum. If you have any further questions
regarding this please do not hesitate to ask.
Finally, if you are in S6 or you are not intending on not returning
to Gracemount High School in June 2016, please return your school iPad to a
member of Gracemount staff at Liberton on the day of your final exam.
It is very important that you make sure that "Find my iPad"
is disabled so Mr Gordon can get access to your iPad to wipe and
restore it. Any other resources such as books from the Library and
textbooks should also be returned. If a member of staff isn't available,
you can always leave them with Ms Kelman or Ms Sim in the Liberton School Office.
We wish you all the very best in
the upcoming examinations, we know that all your hard work, effort and
resilience will be rewarded in the coming months.
Kind regards,
Mr I Hutchison
Depute Head Teacher
