SQA EXAMINATIONS 2020
STUDY LEAVE - ARRANGEMENTS FOR PARENTS, CARERS AND PUPILS

S6 Pupils
S6 last day activities will be planned for Friday 24 April. More details will follow.

From week beginning Monday 27 April, all S6 pupils will commence study leave. Pupils will only be required to come into school to sit their National Examinations.

S4/5 Pupils
From Monday 27 April all S4/5 pupils who are sitting 2 or more National 5’s or above will commence study leave. Pupils will only be required to come into school to sit their National Examinations. All other S4/5 pupils should attend class as normal until Friday 15 May.

Any pupil sitting 1 N5 examination only will be entitled to two days off school prior to the exam to prepare for the exam.

Please note National 5 and Higher Computing Science students will have permission to be off school on Monday 1 June to prepare for this examination which takes place on 2 June.

From Monday 18 May to Friday 29 May, our Meaningful May programme, aimed at those pupils who are sitting 1 N5 exam only or not sitting any exams, will commence.

All Pupils
In almost all circumstances, pupils will study at home. However, any pupil wishing to use the school as a base to study should contact their Guidance Teacher to gain permission to access the school. Pupils must sign in at the school office and can only access the school library unless otherwise agreed by a member of staff.

Please note that pupils should wear school uniform at all times when entering the school. Failure to do so will result in pupils being asked to return home.

From Monday 1 June, the new timetable will begin. All pupils will return to school except for National 5 and Higher Computing Science students. They have permission to be off school on Monday 1 June to prepare for this examination which takes place on 2 June.
